Operators and Control Flow

PHP borrows its operators and loops from C, and the bugs live in the differences: loose ==, two spellings of "and", a switch that falls through, and a foreach reference that outlives its loop. PHP 8 added match and ?-> (8.0) and the pipe |> (8.5). When in doubt about precedence, add parentheses.
