Caching and Headers

Headers decide how long a response is reused, whether it travels compressed and what the page may load. Ubuntu 225 enables mod_deflate; sudo a2enmod expires headers brotli adds the rest. Expires* needs the Indexes override class and the rest FileInfo (AllowOverride). The test site serves a Vite 8.3 25,978 build of a Bootstrap 5.3.8 2,007 page, a PHP page and a JSON API on port 8109, and over HTTPS on 44309 with a self-signed certificate (mod_ssl and HTTPS).
