Backslash escapes: \n, \r, \t, \v, \b, \f, \0, \', \", \\, plus \xHH, \uHHHH and \u{H...} for any code point. A backslash before a line break continues the literal. Since ES2019 unescaped U+2028 and U+2029 are legal in strings, making all JSON valid JavaScript.
