Aggregates and Windows

"What did we sell each month?" collapses rows into one per group: the aggregate functions with GROUP BY (GROUP BY, HAVING, and ROLLUP). "What is the running total?" keeps every row and computes across its neighbors: the window functions, in MySQL 524 since 8.0.
