Let us begin with an introduction to some of the tools and services available for building a website, as well as an explanation on how to host a website on the Internet.

In the simplest form, a webpage is just a file containing HTML contents. To display it, save the file with a '.html' or '.htm' extension, and then open it with a browser by double-clicking it. On most browsers, the Developer Tools Interface can be brought out by pressing the F12 key on the keyboard. It is a useful interface where the developer can analyze, manipulate, and debug the website in real-time.
