IaC and CloudFormation

Infrastructure as code (IaC) describes servers, databases and permissions in version-controlled files that a tool turns into real resources, so infrastructure gets diffs, reviews and rollbacks like application code. CloudFormation 24 , launched in 2011, is AWS 24 's own IaC service.
