@if, @elseif, @else and @endif compile to PHP's alternative syntax. Shorthands include @unless, @isset, @empty, @auth and @guest (Authentication), @env('local'), @production and @session('status'), which exposes the flashed value as $value. Consecutive @case lines share a body, and directives work inline:
@switch($product->format)
@case('hardcover')
@case('paperback') <p>Printed, ships in 2 days.</p> @break
@case('ebook') <p>Instant download.</p> @break
@default <p>Format unknown.</p>
@endswitch
@unless ($product->stock > 0) <p>Out of stock.</p> @endunless
@lowstock($product) <p>Hurry, {{ $product->stock }} left!</p> @endlowstock
@guest <p><a href="/login">Sign in</a> to review.</p> @endguestOutput
$ curl -s localhost:8306/products/2 | grep -oP '<p>.*?</p>' <p>Free shipping over $75</p> <p>Printed, ships in 2 days.</p> <p>Hurry, 3 left!</p> <p><a href="/login">Sign in</a> to review.</p>
The paperback fell through to the shared case; @lowstock is a custom condition (Stacks and Directives).
