Queues and Scheduling

A checkout that renders an invoice, sends an email and calls the warehouse API makes the customer wait for all three and fails when any of them is down. Laravel 2,157 's queue moves that work into jobs that a separate worker runs after the response, with retries and a record of every failure. The scheduler runs recurring tasks from one cron line. The examples use the shop database on MySQL 9.7.2 524 , Laravel 13.33.0 on PHP 8.5.4 and Redis 8.10.2 2,763 ; Laravel's timestamps are UTC.
