MSK, Event Hubs, Google Kafka

Amazon MSK, Azure Event Hubs and Google Cloud Managed Kafka

Each of the three big clouds sells Kafka 129 in its own way. AWS 24 runs real Kafka brokers for you (MSK), Microsoft puts a Kafka-protocol endpoint in front of its own log service (Event Hubs), and Google runs open-source Kafka behind its own sizing and identity model. All three put the stream next to your data, on your existing bill and identity system. None has a free tier and none was run here. Prices are list prices from the vendors' pages on 2 October 2026, in US dollars, for the region each vendor uses in its examples; they vary by region and change often. Comparing Cloud Kafka compares the three and sets Kafka against Amazon Kinesis 24 Data Streams.
