Running BookNest by hand has taken a network, a volume, two long docker run commands and the right order every time. Docker Compose 514 replaces that sequence with one declarative file: each docker run becomes a service, the network and volume are declared once, and docker compose up creates whatever is missing. This section writes BookNest's compose.yaml, the file Jenkins and Kubernetes reuse, and runs it.
