BookNest Dockerfile

Docker Networking ran BookNest's source in the stock node:24-slim image through a bind mount, which works on one machine only. A Dockerfile turns the source into a self-contained image that any Docker 514 host, Jenkins 8,793 agent (Jenkins) or Kubernetes 5,150 node (Kubernetes) runs unchanged. This section writes it, builds it as l3-booknest-api:1.0, runs the test suite inside it and commits it; Multi-Stage and BuildKit then makes it a multi-stage build.
