adapter.info is a synchronous GPUAdapterInfo. It replaced the early asynchronous requestAdapterInfo() (Chrome 1

The empty strings are deliberate: exact GPU names are a strong fingerprinting signal, so Chrome gives pages only a vendor and an architecture, while its own chrome://gpu page names the card in full (Backend Translation). The subgroup size is a real hardware fact, NVIDIA's 32-thread warp (Compute and Workgroups). Use info for logs, never for feature detection.
