User-friendliness

Google weighs the "relevance and usability of pages", and its page experience checklist asks whether visitors "can easily distinguish the main content from other content". Beyond Core Web Vitals, though, such aspects "don't directly help your website rank higher"; they help by satisfying visitors. Bounce rate and time on site as direct factors are unconfirmed (Bounce Rate and Engagement).

Content in tabs or accordions is fine if it is in the HTML, but Google "won't load content that requires user interactions (for example, swiping, clicking, or typing)". A clear hierarchy aids crawling (Links), and BreadcrumbList structured data can show the trail in desktop results.
