Blue Ocean Replacements

Blue Ocean 8,793 , launched in 2017, redrew Pipelines as stage graphs and still fills older tutorials. Its documentation now says it "will not receive further functionality or enhancement updates" and gets only selective fixes for significant security issues or defects, and the update center labels it deprecated (version 1.27.26, still on about 52,000 controllers). It also requires 102 other plugins, 18 of them its own modules, each one more advisory to follow. Do not install it on a new controller, and plan to remove it from old ones.

The documentation names the two others as the replacements. Stage View draws the job page's familiar grid of recent builds against stages. Pipeline Graph View is actively developed, is what the setup wizard of Setup Wizard installs today, and covers the parts of Blue Ocean most people used: the graph, per-stage logs and parallel branches. For editing Pipelines, the Snippet Generator (Stages and Steps) replaces Blue Ocean's visual editor.
