CI, CD and Deployment

Continuous integration merges small changes often, each built and tested automatically, so a break is traced to one commit within minutes. Continuous delivery carries every passing commit on to a release candidate, such as BookNest's image, ready to ship at the press of a button. Continuous deployment removes the button. BookNest's ci.yml (Build-and-Test Workflow) is integration; the Jenkins 8,793 pipeline of Building the Image is delivery; deployment comes with Kubernetes 5,150 in Kubernetes. The ideas are the same in any tool: what Jenkins changes is where the pipeline runs and who keeps the machinery working.
