The baseline is deliberately small: a Book data class, an org.json parser for assets/books.json and one BaselineScreen composable. Installed and launched, it shows the same six books as Cordova to Capacitor:
The project is committed to git with a README.md recording its state, and each later section adds one layer, replacing the web and JavaScript libraries of Cordova to Capacitor with their Jetpack 234 or Kotlin equivalents:

Keep packages flat until it hurts: data for models, repositories and storage, ui for screens and theme, and one ViewModel per screen, wired together with Hilt or Koin (Hilt and Koin) once there are enough layers.
