A web page lives until the user closes the tab. An Android screen is stopped when the user leaves, destroyed on rotation, and loses its whole process when memory runs short, yet must come back as if nothing happened. Cordova 129 and Capacitor 243,123 hid this behind one WebView activity (Keyboard and Rotation and MainActivity and AppDelegate); this section logs every callback of a one-screen Compose 234 app on the emulator and shows which state survives each event.
