BookNest has one activity (Single-Activity Pattern) and, until now, chose its screen from an intent extra. A real app moves between screens, keeps and restores a back stack, and opens onto a screen from a link. In Framework7 572,986 the router did this (Framework7) and in React Native 36,878 , Expo Router 6,418 (React Native). On Android the standard answer is Navigation Compose 234 (androidx.navigation:navigation-compose, version 2.10.2 of 23 September 2026), where screens are composable destinations in a graph and moving between them changes state, not activities.
