These packages fill the gaps a bookshop-sized app meets most often. Versions are the npm 2,036 latest on 24 September 2026; all but AdMob 1 declare @capacitor/core >=8.0.0 as a peer:
| Package | Version | Use it for |
|---|---|---|
| @capacitor-community/sqlite | 8.1.1 | A real database for offline catalogs |
| @capacitor-community/bluetooth-le | 8.3.0 | Scanners, printers and other BLE devices |
| @capacitor-community/admob | 8.1.0 | Banner, interstitial and rewarded ads |
| @capacitor-community/stripe | 8.2.1 | Card payments through Stripe 238 's SDKs |
| @capacitor-mlkit/barcode-scanning | 8.2.1 | Scanning ISBN barcodes on books |
| @capawesome/capacitor-app-update | 8.0.5 | Prompting for store updates |
| @capawesome/capacitor-live-update | 8.4.3 | Over-the-air web updates (Live Updates and CI/CD) |
Two cautions apply. Stripe's package also lists React 7,897 , @stripe/stripe-js and stripe-pwa-elements as peers, so read a plugin's full peer list before you install it. And AdMob's package declared no peer dependencies at all, so npm cannot warn you when it falls behind Capacitor 243,123 : check its releases by hand at each upgrade. More are listed at capacitorjs.com/docs/plugins/community (https://capacitorjs.com/docs/plugins/community 243,123 ).
