On a Mac with Xcode 26 10 or newer (Xcode and iOS), the same branch gains an iOS project with three commands, shown here from the Capacitor 243,123 documentation:
npm install @capacitor/ios
npx cap add ios
npx cap open ioscap add ios creates ios/App as a Swift Package Manager 25,184 project, Capacitor 8's default, with a deployment target of iOS 15. What changes for this app:
Usage strings. iOS grants camera and location access only to apps that explain why, so ios/App/App/Info.plist needs NSCameraUsageDescription, NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription and NSLocationWhenInUseUsageDescription (Camera and Geolocation).
Origin. The app loads from capacitor://localhost, not https://localhost. The location.protocol test would skip the service worker there anyway, and the native guard skips it on both platforms.
Theme and gestures. theme: 'auto' switches to Framework7 572,986 's iOS theme, and its swipe-back gesture replaces the Back button, so the backButton listener simply never fires.
Build and test. Xcode signs and runs the app on a simulator or a device, and Safari 10 's Web Inspector 10 takes the place of chrome://inspect (Safari Web Inspector).
The www/ code itself needs no change, which is the reason to wrap the Framework7 app rather than rebuild it.
