A Rectangle or Ellipse overlays its children by their alignment. A StackPanel stacks them (vertically, or horizontally with isVertical = false) and sizes itself to fit, so children need a fixed size or resizeToFit along that direction. A Grid divides itself into rows and columns in pixels (addColumnDefinition(96, true)) or shares of the space left (addColumnDefinition(1)), and grid.addControl(control, row, column) fills a cell. BookNest's Book Details Panel's panel nests them: a Rectangle holding a two-column Grid, with an Image in one cell and a StackPanel of text and a button in the other.
