Features Manager

The Features Manager and Optional Features

WebXR's add-on modules (hit tests, anchors, hand input, layers) change faster than the core API, so Babylon 89,603 wraps each in a versioned feature, which xr.baseExperience.featuresManager enables by name and version ('stable', 'latest' or a number) and attaches when a session starts. In 9.28.0, WebXRFeaturesManager.GetAvailableFeatures() listed 23 features, and the default experience enabled four: pointer selection, teleportation, near interaction and hand tracking. Adding WebXRFeatureName.MOVEMENT threw "Feature xr-controller-movement cannot be enabled while xr-controller-teleportation is enabled". enableFeature(name, version, options, attachIfPossible = true, required = true) makes features required by default, and a device lacking a required module refuses the whole session, so pass false for extras. ES module builds must import each feature's module first.

Every feature the WebXR features manager can enable, with the four the default experience turns on highlightedHTMLLive
