A ScrollViewer clips a larger child and adds scroll bars (wheel support, barSize, image bars); a Slider picks a number between minimum and maximum in steps. A price slider filters a scrolling list:
const GUI = BABYLON.GUI;
const ui = GUI.AdvancedDynamicTexture.CreateFullscreenUI('ui', true, scene);
const viewer = Object.assign(new GUI.ScrollViewer('list'), { width: '220px', height: '90px' });
const list = new GUI.StackPanel('titles');
viewer.addControl(list);
const price = Object.assign(new GUI.Slider('maxPrice'),
{ minimum: 10, maximum: 40, value: 10, top: '60px' });
[viewer, price].forEach((control) => ui.addControl(control));
price.onValueChangedObservable.add((max) => { // rebuild the list on every change
list.clearControls();
BookNestStore.BOOKS.filter((book) => book.price <= max).forEach((book) =>
list.addControl(Object.assign(new GUI.TextBlock(book.title, book.title),
{ height: '24px' })));
});
for (const max of [40, 20]) {
price.value = max; // as a drag would
scene.render();
console.log(`up to $${max}: ${list.children.length} titles, ${list.heightInPixels} px`);
}Output
up to $40: 6 titles, 144 px up to $20: 3 titles, 72 px
All six titles overflow the 90-pixel viewer, which gains a scroll bar; at $20 three fit.
