Framework7 572,986 (github.com/framework7io/framework7 (https://github.com/framework7io/framework7 18,763 ), MIT, 9.1.3, 18,761 stars) is the UI kit this book adopts; Framework7 rebuilds BookNest with it. Unlike Ionic 20,753 and Onsen UI 450,074 , its core needs no UI framework (React 7,897 , Vue 5,482 and Svelte 36,701 are optional layers), and it brings its own router, Store and DOM library. Its CLI knows Cordova 129 : tick the Cordova target in framework7 create (Framework and Template) and it adds the Cordova project and a build-cordova-android script that ends in cordova build android (Cordova and Capacitor). At run time its initOnDeviceReady option, on by default, waits for deviceready (App Initialization Options), the rule BookNest's index.js follows by hand. Capacitor then packages the Framework7 BookNest with Capacitor 243,123 .
