The free Lite edition (npm 2,036 install @mobiscroll/javascript-lite, 6.1.4, Apache 2.0) has 16 form elements; the scheduling components are commercial, with perpetual licenses from $995 (Scheduling and Calendaring) and $1,955 (Complete), including a year of updates renewable at 80% of the price. It is ordinary JavaScript and CSS, so it runs in a Cordova 129 WebView unchanged.
Evothings Studio 54 gave Cordova developers live reload for Internet of Things apps: edit on your computer and watch the code run at once in the Evothings Viewer app on a phone, talking to a Bluetooth Low Energy sensor. The company closed after its premium subscription failed, the reload service was switched off on 1 July 2020, and the open-source code (github.com/evothings/evothings-studio (https://github.com/evothings/evothings-studio 54 ), Apache 2.0) has had no commit since May 2017. A tool that needs its maker's server stops when the maker does.
Instabug 13,353 lets users shake the phone to file a bug report with a screenshot, device details, network logs and repro steps, and adds crash reporting. The company renamed itself Luciq on 24 September 2025. Its plugin instabug-cordova (15.1.2, March 2026) still installs, but Luciq's current documentation lists only iOS, Android, React Native 36,878 and Flutter 16,720 , and the plugin had 545 npm downloads in the month to 21 September 2026. Sentry 92 has archived its sentry-cordova repository (last published in March 2026). SDK vendors are following their customers elsewhere; for crash reports in a Cordova app, Crashlytics 1 through cordova-plugin-firebasex (Sharing and Firebase) is the best-maintained route.
