A swipeout row hides buttons behind its content: swipe left to reveal swipeout-actions-right, swipe right to reveal swipeout-actions-left. The li gets the class swipeout, its visible part becomes swipeout-content, and each action is a link:
swipeout-close closes the row after the tap; swipeout-delete collapses and removes it, first asking data-confirm with data-confirm-title if you give them;
swipeout-overswipe on the outermost button fires it when the user swipes all the way, as Mail's Delete does;
events swipeout:open, :opened, :close, :closed, :delete and :deleted bubble from the row, and app.swipeout.open(el, 'right'), close() and delete() drive it from code.
Swipes also work with a mouse (Swipe to Remove's screenshots). Swipeouts are hidden, so never make one the only way to do something: the cart also has Clear, and checkout changes quantities.
