Every screen that waits on a network spends part of its life in a loading state, and users judge an app by how that state feels. React Native 36,878 ships two indicators for it: ActivityIndicator, the platform's own spinner, and RefreshControl, which adds pull to refresh to a scrolling view. The third component, StatusBar, controls the strip with the clock and battery, the one part of the screen your app does not draw.
